Henry T. Blackaby has spent his life in ministry. He has served as a music director, Christian education director, and senior pastor in churches in California and Canada; his first church assignment was in 1958. Following his local church ministry, Dr. Blackaby became a college president, a missionary, and an executive in the Southern Baptist Convention. He is currently serving as President of Henry Blackaby Ministries where he continues to provide leadership to thousands of pastors and laymen across North America and around the world.
Dr. Blackaby formerly served the Southern Baptist Convention as Special Assistant to the Presidents of the North American Mission Board, the International Mission Board, and LifeWay Christian Resources in the areas of Prayer, Revival and Spiritual Awakening. |

In the early 90's Henry Blackaby became one of North America's best-selling Christian authors, committing the rest of his life to helping people know and experience God. His study, Experiencing God, has been used in thousands of churches in the U.S. and abroad. The author of over a dozen books, Dr. Blackaby is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He has completed his Th.M. degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also received three honorary doctorate degrees. Henry Blackaby and his wife, Marilynn, have five married children and 13 grandchildren. He currently serves as the president of Henry Blackaby Ministries. Dr. Blackaby led the Spring 2001 module in Saskatoon, SK Canada, May 24-27, 2001. Audio recordings of his messages are available. |
