Sunder Krishnan was born into an orthodox family in India and grew up in the capital city of New Delhi.  He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in 1967 and received his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1969 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.  For eleven years he worked for the Atomic Energy of Canada in the safety analysis of nuclear generatoring stations.

Sunder accepted Christ as his Saviour through the ministry of Youth For Christ in New Delhi and has been active with Youth For Christ both in India and in Boston.

Sunder has worshipped at Rexdale Alliance Church since 1969, serving as a Sunday School teacher and then on the Board of Elders.  In 1980, he joined the pastoral staff of Rexdale Alliance Church as the Associate pastor, and was ordained in 1982.  On January 1, 1997, Rev. Sunder Krishnan was appointed the Senior Pastor.

Rev. Krishnan has been the featured speaker at the General Assembly of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada, the General Council of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in the United States, in several Bible Colleges, and numerous missionary conferences and concerts of prayer.

Rev. Krishnan was the instructor for Spring 2000 Module of the College of Prayer in Rexdale Ontario. Audio recordings of his messages are available.
